Wallpaper Wednesday: the chest-puffing eagle
I’m not sure where he took this, but Ken found someone who hasn’t kept up with EMU’s changing marketing efforts. To wit, they were still displaying the logo used from 1996 through 1999 (which, in turn, was derived from the 1991-1995 logo). I have always thought of this as the “chest-puffing eagle” (which, in reality, looks like this), and I’ve never really cared for it, but something about this image — maybe the high contrast — makes it look much better than the full-color version.

Would you believe I took this in the Convocation Center on the south side? It was at one of the games at halftime, so I was heading up the stairs, so this and took a picture. I first tried it with the flash…didn’t like it. so I then put my hand over the flash to try and muffle it a bit. I actually liked the effect, so here it is.
